On 3 September, COLINE joined an online DUT Knowledge Hub event, which brought together projects from the 2023 call to exchange ideas and approaches. The Knowledge Hubs are designed to help projects build on their results and foster collaboration around the 15-Minute City (15mC) concept.
In a breakout session moderated by Juliette Tenart, we met with the PROMISE, Smart Urbanity Share4Equity, and POTUS projects. The discussion centred on how each initiative applies the 15-Minute City narrative. For COLINE, this framework highlights key gaps—public transport, commuting, and social mixing—that the project will explore through the analysis of mobility traces.
Participants also compared methods and tools. COLINE outlined its plan to use mobility data to reveal patterns of amenity visits, commuting flows, and opportunities for interaction. These insights will feed into the development of models and decision-support tools. Other projects described complementary strategies such as policy frameworks and additional modelling approaches.
The group also addressed engaging municipalities. We proposed holding workshops, promoting knowledge transfer between Budapest and Vienna, and in Turin, collaborating with 5T, a mobility intelligence company.
The meeting offered us an excellent opportunity to share perspectives and connect with peer projects across the DUT community.
